3 packets (10.5 oz/300g) will treat hair to waist.
Note: hair thickness and type (straight, curly, etc) will make a difference.

How To Apply
This is a powdered specialty hair & scalp treatment with faint golden pigment.
Please follow the steps below.
Before Application: Wash hair TWICE with a high-lather shampoo. No conditioner or style products.
Hair can be Dry or Towel Dry, but not Wet. Wear smock or old towel over shoulders.
*Always perform a strand and spot test before full treatment & read below completely BEFORE starting.
1. MIX & PREPARE
• Use quart size mixing bowl per 3.5oz packet(100g) and a spoon to mix.
• Cover any surfaces that may stain: untreated wood, carpet, fabric, etc. (as a precaution).
• Pour powder into bowl. One packet treats straight, shoulder length hair (approx).
• Add hot, not boiling, water (approx 122º F) gradually to the powder.
Note: There’s no exact amount of water to add. Add a little at a time to get an applicable paste consistency.
Similar to a thick pudding or ketchup consistency.
• Prepare hair for treatment. Divide hair into four sections: Front, L&R sides, Back.
2. APPLY CASSIA OBOVATA
• Apply directly to hair using gloved hand (can sometimes stain hands light tan).
• Using gloved hand, scoop & apply the paste on back section (if crumbly, add water).
• From root of hair, work evenly to top of hair. Try for complete, even coverage.
• Methodically apply from back to front section. Take your time. Massage well into hair.
• When done, cover head with included plastic cap. Leave on for 1 hour.
3. RINSE & CONDITION
• Rinse out thoroughly (NO Shampoo) until all product removed. Then use conditioner.
Note: Be patient. Rinsing may take a little while. Conditioner will help removal.
Remember: It’s natural, no added perfumes. The paste has an earthy plant-based scent.
You can add fragrance oil or personal perfume to hair after rinsed out.
• Avoid shampooing for 24 hours. Allow natural herbal oils to nourish scalp and hair.
• Safe to use over other natural dye colors. Will boost the golden hues of blonde hair.
• Regular usage heals hair from the scalp up. Restores natural moisture & sheen.
• Regular usage will increase hair color retention and duration.

Just placed another order, and thought I’d tell you guys again just how much I love this stuff, how my hair is gradually healing from all the damage and the compliments I get on my hair. Although very difficult to rinse out of my hair (literally took half a bottle of conditioner) it worked great for my very fine hair. I always have wispy fly aways when I have my hair up, and even with fancy products like Phyto, I often look like I’ve been electrocuted because my hair will stick straight out to the sides. After using this I had my hair back to go to the gym and with no product at all my fly aways were flat!!! My hair is definitely softer too.
Also, although I have waist length hair, I only needed one bag. I feel like hair thickness is more important than length in deciding how much you need to use. Sadly my hair is just that fine.

I made my own dye using 90% cassia and 10% pure henna, and I love the color. Starting with dark blonde, neutral to cool toned hair, I ended up with a warm golden blonde, not very red at all.
The powders are high quality, and mixed into a smooth paste that looked like green brownie batter. It didn’ t take that long to rinse the paste from my hair.
I would highly recommend these products!

This is a great treatment. My hair was extremely damaged from bleaching it. It was so thin from breakage. I have previously used the pure henna from hennacolorlab, so I know how healthy henna can make my hair. I did see in the directions that it can add a ‘flaxen’ shade to my hair, but I decided to leave the neutral henna in overnight (12 hours) and this resulted in a bright yellow color. I am sure if I follow directions next time, the color won’t be so intense. However, my hair is MUCH thicker than before! Which I am very pleased about. I have washed it about 3 times since doing it and it is still very hard to comb through. I have to wait for it to dry completely before being able to comb it. I think next time I will try the other ayurvedic treatment from this site, just because it has other ingredients that might not make it so yellow-golden. I am lucky I have the right eye and skin color for the yellow-ness. Customer service is excellent! They say that the yellow might fade over time, but it’s ok if it doesn’t. As well as being way more thick, it also feels a little longer probably because of sealing my frayed ends. I also like the henna smell 🙂 I will continue to buy from this site 🙂

I love my Cassia Obovata!! I have naturally “maturing” silver and white hair and I use a CO treatment about once a month. I love the “flaxen” color it adds to my hair – looks a little sun-kissed and my silver shines like little strands of gold. Not to mention that it makes my life-long, baby-fine hair, thicker and full of body, and the root outgrow is hardly noticeable. I LOVE IT!! Even the earthy smell is starting to grow on me. Thanks for a great, natural product that is also reasonably priced.

I really liked this as a quick treatment when I don’t want to take the time to do a Henna color. It helps with an itchy, flaky scalp. It makes your hair thicker like a Henna treatment too. I did notice my hair was shinier than usual. I will definitely use this in between Henna’s when my hair feels like I need a boost and to help with my scalp.
