Liquid vs. Solid Shampoo: Being a solid, shampoo bars offer a little more flexibility with our plant-based lather. By lengthening the cure time, we can soften and smooth the surfactant blend to another level of performance. Additionally, we add a creamy blend of jojoba oil and cocoa butter. Jojoba oil adds body and elasticity to hair; cocoa butter conditions and soothes the scalp. Bars are a great compliment to the liquid shampoos. Both work great. Can be used interchangeably.
Plus! Bars require minimal packaging (small footprint) and are great for travel (one bar, many uses).

I wanted to like this shampoo bar so much. I’ve used their wine red hair color for a long time and decided to give the shampoo a go.
Unfortunately this shampoo bar left an awful waxy/sticky film in my hair. I’ve tried using different conditioners, rinsing more, rinsing less. Nothing has worked.

Love this shampoo bar. I am a soapmaker that has thought about making shampoo bars- because they are better for your hair- but wanted to try one before making them myself. These shampoo bars are so great and have done wonders for my fine hair that I decided it isn’t worth trying to come up with my own recipe at this time. I also love the mint conditioner, I don’t need to use it everyday with the shampoo bar so it last alot longer. Also-the shampoo bars are also great if you camp- you can just take this and use it as soap and shampoo- very convenient.
