Liquid vs. Solid Shampoo: Being a solid, shampoo bars offer a little more flexibility with our plant-based lather. By lengthening the cure time, we can soften and smooth the surfactant blend to another level of performance. Additionally, we add a creamy blend of jojoba oil and cocoa butter. Jojoba oil adds body and elasticity to hair; cocoa butter conditions and soothes the scalp. Bars are a great compliment to the liquid shampoos. Both work great. Can be used interchangeably.
Plus! Bars require minimal packaging (small footprint) and are great for travel (one bar, many uses).

The smell is amazing and it lathers wonderfully, but that’s about the only good thing with this shampoo bar. It left my hair feeling very heavy and waxy. I used their conditioner after as well and still had an extremely hard time brushing through my hair. I’ve used quite a few different shampoo bars with great success this one just did not work out. I then tried it as a body wash and it again left a residue on my skin and made it feel dried out. Really wish this one could’ve worked for me since I love their henna dyes.

Have always had a hard time finding shampoo that works for me, but this is perfect. Most shampoos leave my hair feeling extremely dried out and/or weighed down, but this leaves it soft and gives lots of volume. It leaves my hair so soft and smooth that I wouldn’t even need to use conditioner. I will say the bar was smaller than expected, but I’ve been using it daily for about two weeks and I expect it’ll last for at least month longer. For the size, it actually seems like it’ll go farther than a standard-sized bottle of liquid shampoo.

LOVE IT! I have been struggling with trying to find a nice shampoo. I have very fine hair that breaks easily. I have tried every expensive salon brand out there and have been disappointed every time (not to mention the outrageous prices for something that was no better than drug store stuff) and was fed up so I thought I’d try this. I used this, then colored my hair with the medium brown henna and have been using the shampoo bar ever since and I don’t remember the last time my hair was this soft! I am so impressed!
