🪵 Raw Red Alder Wood Soap Dish? Red Alder wood is sustainable, strong, and durable. Oregon Red Alder is ubiquitous in the Pacific Northwest. In our native forests, it grows 50% faster than most hardwoods; the sustainable harvests provide reclaimed lots for our soap dish production (with no ecological stress). Being a coastal species, Red Alder is ideal in maritime conditions and will endure easily in the bath and shower. Acquires a nice natural patina with age.

And being raw, you don’t have to worry about plastics or resins making contact with your organic soap. Its absorbent grain pulls excess water from bars plus the vented dish design provides airflow—both allow proper drying…dry bars last much longer.

V-Channel: The milled v-notch allows minimal contact to the soap. Gently rests on the peaks—yet allows max airflow to drain water through the channels and wick moisture into the dry wood.
